Wangi Sari

LRG_DSC00961 (2)I am a final year PhD student in the School of Engineering and one of the wrap’s postgraduate researcher.

I did my undergraduate degree in Indonesia and being involved in the team is such an enriching experience for me. Together, we investigate research opportunities for undergraduate students and working toward improving the current scheme to achieve higher student experience.

I am excited to work with the team and be investigating the role that undergraduate research can play in improving outcomes for students from underrepresented backgrounds, and contributing to the a meaningful higher education experience for all students.

I am a MSc Quantitative Social Research student in the School of Sociology and have recently joined wrap as a postgraduate researcher.

As an undergraduate at Leeds, I was fortunate enough to be a part of several research schemes, including the Laidlaw scholarship, where I explored the teaching-research nexus at universities, and a project studying barriers to students doing years in industry.

I’m excited to be involved in this project to help promote the value of undergraduate research and improve the experience of students from all backgrounds.

I am a third year Law student and one of the wrap project’s Undergraduate Research Assistants. My motivation for being involved in the project and joining this team was the opportunity to learn about and develop my skills in social research, and to contribute meaningfully to an area of personal interest. Whilst being of a minority ethnicity myself, I have the privilege of being

able to access HE and engage in high-impact practices, so I am very happy to be a member of this research team as we work to widen access to such opportunities to other underrepresented students.

Dan Nădășan

I am a third year Politics and International Studies student and one of the Undergraduate Research Assistants in the wrap team. I am generally interested in pursuing research activities and opportunities within my degree, so I have been extremely enthusiastic to be a part of the wrap team and learn about how we could expand the community of undergraduate researchers at Warwick. I am of the belief that carrying your own research is an opportunity for self-discovery and growth, and thus should be accessible to everyone. As such, I am very happy to promote the development of more expansive and inclusive undergraduate research projects at Warwick!
